About Organization : Mazagon Dock Limited (MDL) is India’s prime shipyard. It manufactures warships and submarines for the Indian Navy, and offshore platforms and associated support vessels for offshore oil drilling. It also builds tankers, cargo bulk carriers, passenger ships and ferries. The shipyards of MDL were established in the 18th century. Ownership of the yards passed through various entities, including the Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Company and the British-India Steam Navigation Company. Eventually, Mazagon Dock Limited was registered as a public company in 1934. The shipyard was nationalised in 1960, and is now a Public Sector Undertaking of the Government of India.

Mechanical : 16

Electrical : 19

Educational Qualification : Full-Time degree in Engineering in Mechanical/ Electrical with minimum First Class or 60% Marks or equivalent CGPA from a recognized University/ Deemed University Or Institute recognized by AICTE.

Age Limitation : Candidates should have age limit of 26 years as on 01.02.2016. Age relaxation for SC/ST candidates is 5 years, for OBC candidates is 3 years and for PHC is 10 years.

Application Fee : General/ OBC Category are required to submit application fees of Rs. 340 /- through Challan at any nearest Branch of State Bank of India (SBI). Applicants belonging to SC/ ST/ PWD (Persons With Disability) are exempted from such payment of Application fee.
