About Organization : The East Coast Railway (ECoR) is one of the sixteen railway zones of Indian Railways. It came into existence on 1 April 2003. As the name suggests, most of the railway routes of the zone are near the east coast of India.

Educational Qualification :
Grade Pay Rs.1800/- : 10th standard or ITI or equivalent from a recognized Board.
Grade Pay Rs.1900 & 2000/- : 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination. (OR) A pass in Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized Board and having ITI certificate may also apply to be posted as Tech-III.
Grade Pay Rs.2400/- : 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent, with 80 words per minute in Shorthand (Hindi/English) for a duration of 10 minutes which will be transcribed in typing in 65 minutes for English and in 75 minutes for Hindi, for the post of Jr. Stenographer. (OR) A pass in 1st year of B. Sc. (Physics) or, a pass in 10+2 stage in Higher Secondary in Science (Math or Physics) for the post of Electrical Signal Maintainer-II in S&T Dept.
Grade Pay Rs.2800/- : A Degree or its equivalent from a recognized university.
Age Limitation : Eligible candidates for applying these posts should have the age limit of 18 to 25 Years as on 01.01.2016

Hiring Procedure : Selection will be based upon performance in sports Trials and Interview.
Application Fee : UR and OBC candidates have to pay Rs.100/- in the form of Indian Postal Order from any Post Office drawn in favour of“FA&CAO, East Coast Railway, payable at Bhubaneswar”. SC/ST, ex-servicemen, physically challenged, women, minority candidates and candidates belonging to economically backward classes need not pay this fee.
How to Apply : Interested Candidates may apply in prescribed application form xerox copies of all certificates, in proof of educational qualification, age, ST/SC/OBC status send to the respective office address as per Official Notification on or before 12.10.2015.
